There are more than 4 billion people in Asia and 60% of them do not have a bank account. Many more do not have basic insurance protection in life, property, accident and health.
With almost two-thirds of the vast population of Asia now using smartphones, SURETY is able to offer Micro-Insurance products on the blockchain to the unbanked and uninsured.
We are in talks with strategic partners such as Banks, Telecos, Convenience Stores etc. in Asia to offer top-up and credit facilities to allow the unbanked and uninsured to purchase Micro-Insurances with SURETY (SURE) Tokens.
SURETY.AI connects the uninsured population with insures, payment providers and banks to provide a frictionless experience for insurance purchase and claims management using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) bots. With SURE Tokens, insurance policies and claim transactions can be stored on our chain, benefiting the unbanked and other participants of the ecosystem.
Consumers get tokens as rewards for purchasing insurance products. These reward tokens can be spent at other ecosystem partners such departmental stores.
Consumers get tokens for no-claims-discount (NCD) on their insurance purchases from our insurance partners.
Insurance policies are stored on tokens and it is proof of insurance during claim. As these are immutable contracts, it fosters trust and security among insurer, re-insurer and the insured.
Unbanked consumers can use tokens to access their data for policy payment and claim information. This information form their credit history to gain access to financial services like loans from banks.
Insurers use tokens to store claims data to avoid duplicate claims and insurance fraud. Blockchain’s immutable recording system can help insurers avoid claims leakage and lower loss ratio. In this way, premiums for micro insurances can be even lower for the unbanked population.
Insurance actuaries use tokens to access aggregated data for policy payment and claim information for pricing and pricing analysis. Insurers can even offer tokens to purchase data to train their A.I. bots.
SURETY.AI has been used by many leading insurers in Asia and was the first A.I. insurance chatbot in Singapore. With a committed subscription of more than USD5 million to date, SURETY.AI has been experiencing fast month-on-month growth since its launch in mid-2017.
With our network throughout Asia, SURETY.AI is able to roll out micro-insurance products and services to the huge market of uninsured and unbanked population.
With a young and mobile population in Asia, SURETY is positioned to bring enormous benefits to the tech savvy consumers.
The SURETY.AI platform also benefit from our proprietary technology and patent-pending method of “PROVIDING AN INDICATION OF THE WELL-BEING OF AN INDIVIDUAL”. This patent was filed in October 2014 and has received approval under Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) system (PCT APPLICATION NO. PCT/SG2015/050391). National patents have also been filed and awaiting approvals in the United States of America, Republic of China, Hong Kong and Singapore. It is expected that the official approval of our patent will protect our intellectual property and allow SURETY.AI to scale our technology throughout major global markets.
